DR. Soda is back!!
Once a year a library patron put up a display of the different names "Dr. Pepper and Mr Pibb" are under in other places of the states and beyond.
(Notice the 3 litter bottle in the middle)
Not allowed to use a flash in the library so I apologies for the yellowness of the pics.

It's either at Walmart or Shopper's... Or super value. It's just ghetto Dr. Pepper.

that dr. pepper syrup sludge that came out tasted ok, but its consistency kinda grossed me out.

[info]fiveminutebreak

July 1 2008, 02:10:31 UTC 3 years ago

yeah... then the sludge would be gone and you'd have strange-tasting gum left over.

July 1 2008, 02:12:46 UTC 3 years ago

if i remember correctly after the sludge was gone, the gum itself would have an aftertaste like novocaine. i guess you were supposed to chew the syrup INTO the gum, but it was hard to do without swallowing most of the syrup.

mmmm... novocaine gum. you know... in retrospect I change my first answer from "it was strange, but good" to "it was strange."

I used to drink Skipper before they changed it to Dr. Skipper. I guess people needed help figuring out it was a budget Dr. Pepper.
