will photobucket keep it? I just use my lj scrapbook for uploading pictures now. I wonder how much space I have left.....

For the most part, yeah. I usually upload all my boob images at photobucket and they don't get deleted.

I could cave and get a plus account so I can use the scrapbook but I just cannot deal with those ads.

I don't even pay attention to the ads anymore. A paid LJ account is on my Christmas list this year(along with donations to the pet rescue my foster doggy belongs to now)

I still say a paid account for LJ is one of the best internet expenditures, especially since you get a discount if you set up for automatic - $20 for a year of 2gb image hosting with no content limits (beyond illegal content) and customizable security settings? SOLD.
